SaunaHash app — support

From Google Play, in Finland: search “SaunaHash” or use the link on saunahash.com once the listing is live. The app runs on Android 7.0 (API 24) and newer. It is not on the App Store yet.

Only to sort the list by distance, and only when you tap Use my location. The position stays on your phone: it is read once, used to sort, never stored and never sent. Declining keeps everything else working; pick a municipality instead. Details: privacy.

Yes. The whole atlas is bundled with the app. When you are online it refreshes from saunahash.com and keeps the last copy; the Atlas tab shows which copy you are looking at and the date the dataset was generated.

The atlas lists only venues checked against their own source, and it does not claim to be complete. Verified means name, address, access and operation were confirmed on the operator's or the city's page. Disputed means sources disagree on a fact that matters and the disagreement is recorded, not resolved. Closed means the operator or municipality says so. Not yet verified means the venue is known from licensed open data but the operator has not confirmed it. Nothing is hidden: every record shows its status and its sources.

Not in the atlas, on purpose. Hours, prices and seasons change; confirm on the linked page before you go. Every record links its operator page.

Email hello@jukkablomberg.com with the record name (or the address of the missing venue) and a link to the operator's page that shows the fact. Corrections land in the dataset on saunahash.com first; the app picks them up on its next refresh.

Nowhere — they live only in the app's storage on the phone you starred them on. There is no account and no sync.
